APAK is an amazing design duo with a show opening tomorrow at Super 7, in San Francisco. I love the installation pieces they did for the show, which you can see on their FlickR (complete with sculptures of bunnies, squirrels, and live plants!) They also have some super rad gocco screened cards in their Etsy shop (I picked some up at Comic Con this year, and still think they are too cute to give away!) Here is their artist bio:
Aaron and Ayumi Piland are two physically separate beings who are united in art as APAK. They met in a distant dimension and traveled to Earth together in a magic imagination machine. Using their art, they have learned to exchange energy with beings throughout the universe. From their secret sky cabin, they are sending out their signal hopes of contacting other creative life forms.
