My morning has been wildly inspired by Russian stop-motion animator Roman Kachanov. I have always loved the characters he created (when I was in Japan I bought stickers and washcloths featuring Cheburashka and Krokodil Gena, and I have a set of Mitten dolls) but I never took the time to actually watch the sketches until this morning. To my delight, they are AMAZING, and you should watch them too!!
Eloise and i loved watching the 1st one together! how sweet is that little girl!!! I wish art was a lot more like this now :/ my mom did a bunch of stop motion movies with her students in the 70's and then when i was young...its sooo much work but so worth the time. They have such an amazing quality.
Aaah! That's adorable!
