Charley Harper "An Illustrated Life"

I saw this amazing book, Charley Harper, An Illustrated Life, at Fitzsu a couple weeks back. I meant to post about it, and was reminded today when I saw the post on Oh Joy about this wonderful book. The illustrations are lovely, and I was especially taken with the insect and bird images.



This huge book was designed and edited by the wonderful Todd Oldham, who worked in conjunction with Charlie for 5 years to select works spanning his 6 decade long illustration career. It's definitely an inspiring, creative look at nature and design, and I highly recommend checking it out.
