I'm a sucker for cars shaped like (1) whales or manatees (like my Prius, and the new Volvo C30), or (2) toasters. The Nissan Cube is so toaster-y adorable... I saw it at the LA Auto Show last year and fell in love! I would probably only consider buying it if it was a Hybrid, but I can still admire it's looks! I guess Nisaan is letting design students work on both the interior of the vehicle, and the promotional campaign. Read more about that, here.
I also love the new Volvo C30, and would want it in a heart beat, but it's not a hybrid either! WTF? Why are all these cool new cars coming out as gas guzzlers? It really irritates me... I am going to have to drive my Prius forever... which is fine by me :)

ReplyDeleteI want the C30 so bad I'm seriously considering it as the top option for my new car...but yes I hate that it's not a hybrid! It does get 38mpg :/
