Inspired By : Yoshitomo Nara

Yoshitomo Nara has always been one of my favorite artists. I saw his solo show in San Jose a few years ago, and it's still one of my favorite exhibits. I searched for some of his work online today, and fell in love all over again. His 2006 show in Japan, A to Z was constructed in abandoned warehouses- it looks like it was amazing! Here's some of the images I came across today and found inspiring...

  1. I love the fact that the plushies in the word boxes were sent to him by fans. So cool.

I bought a Blackguard Angel doll at a museum show in 2005 and Roo promptly stole it from me and it has been her lovey ever since. How cool is that?
