No rewards without risk...

Whew... today was a really hard / big day. Today, I quit my "normal" job and decided to solely focus on Bored Inc. I've held a design position for 11 years at a company that was not headed in a very bright direction. The people involved in the company were not loyal to me and never treated me in a way I should have been treated. It took me way too long to stop putting up with it, but today is the day! I'm scared, I don't really know how things will work out; but I am excited, and I am committed to making Bored Inc. into what I have always wanted!

On a side note, one thing that made me smile today was this little plush croissant wearing a beret from Shanalogic.

I think I'll nap with Bella now...

  2. First of all, that croissant is awesome.

Secondly, I hear ya about taking a job leap. it's scary. I am inbetweeen things too now and it still scares me, but you seem to have a good eye for things. I'm sure something great will pop up for you. If not, maybe one of my friends knows of something. I know I'm a dodgy blogger, but I just wanted to reach out. Best of luck to you.
