I first picked up a postcard featuring the work of Konatsu at New People in SF. I was instantly drawn to the classic Japanese style featuring sweet little characters. There's a lovely portfolio of work here, but I can't seem to find any products available in America :(

I see these images as Classic-kawaii wall paper. Traditional at first glass and light heart fun in the details...1950's re-burst.
