New Edwin Ushiro Prints

There's two new lovely Edwin Ushiro prints available at A Paper Tiger. These are probably my favorite of Edwin's prints to date.

LeBasse Projects : ‘Vous Avez Eté Juste Servi’

There's a super cool show opening tomorrow evening in Los Angeles at the newly remodled LeBasse Projects Gallery. The group show ‘Vous Avez Eté Juste Servi’ includes pieces by artists such as Koralie, Edwin Ushiro, Amanda Visell, Michelle Valigura, Jack Long and others. See a preview of the show here.

Edwin Ushiro's ' Birth of Unreckoning'

This weeks print release from A Paper Tiger is Edwin Ushiro's 'Birth of Unreckoning'.

Edwin describes his print this way "In Hawaiian mythology, Madame Pele is the Hawaiian Goddess of fire, lightning, dance, volcanoes, and violence. Throughout my childhood in Hawaii, I have heard numerous reports from residents who have had an encounter with Pele. Many sightings forewarn an eruption of Kilauea (one of the world's most active volcano)."
