I have a love / hate relationship with TokiDoki these days. I'll always love Simone's work, but I just think the line is really over-extended right now.
In any case, the prototypes for his new cactus friends toys are super duper cute.

A big pet-peeve of mine is vinyl toys that don't stand well on their own, and take the face-first suicide plunge onto a wood (or cement =] ) floor.
ReplyDeleteSimone's earlier Sabochan and Sandy always fall and shoot their spikes all over the place. MAKE TOYS THAT STAND UP ON THEIR OWN PEOPLE!!

Hmm good point. I think we had to resort to taping their feet down, didn't we? Plus, their spikes always fall out and get lost. Maybe these spikes will be glued in, instead of loose?
