Tado for Smart!

As I'm sure that Courtney would tell you herself, I'm a silly car-loving boy. I regularly subject my poor girlfriend to tag along on Saturday test drives in fancy cars that we could never afford. She made me swear never to tell, but I've even convinced her to drive me in the Prius to go look at the Hummer H3 (sorry Babe!!). I'm on the loosing side of an ongoing battle in trying to convince her that a well designed car is just like a great piece of art.

Anyhow (saving myself from further embarassment), TokyoBunnie previously featured the amazing Fafi Smart Car. Today I came across the equally stunning Tado-ified, Smart Four Two Passion Coupe (which is now available in the US!). Although their gas mileage still falls short of the Prius, the Mercedes owned Smart is still amazingly efficient, averaging over 40 mpg!



On the down side, I also came across this (not so cute) YouTube video of one in a head on collision with a larger Mercedes. Needless to say, things didn't turn out so well.
