We've had our little bun-kins for nearly 2 months now, and he's beginning to be really comfortable around us. Dan built him an amazing 3 story home (modeled after the Dwell pre-fab house) and he loves it! He spends all night hopping from floor to floor, and then cozies up in his warm bed for nap time. He loves treats and we have successfully started to fatten him up!
He does NOT like his walking vest, and we have to distract him with treats to get it on, and then he wiggles his way out. Our floor is slippery and he has trouble gaining his footing, so when he's on the leash he just slides about- it's funny and a bit sad, so we've stopped trying to play with the leash.
We are thinking of possibly getting him a bunny friend, but that's a ways off- right now we are having fun playing with our new "super cute" pet.
He's looking spiffy in his walking vest. :D what a cutie!!

ReplyDeleteOh he IS super kawaii! I used to have a little leash vest like this for my guinea pig. It just took a little training, but I used to be able to get him down to the end of the street and back. A big walk for a little pig.
