Cute Culture Clothing

Since I have opened the blog up to submissions, I have gotten so many great e-mails! I try to spend a lot of time finding cute and inspiring things to post here but there is just so much amazingness out there that it's great when it just appears in my inbox! I saw this video for Samsung's Ultra Touch on Cuteoverload and it completely made my day. This is quite possibly the cutest marketing I have ever seen!!

Cute Things Falling Asleep Blog!!

Ahhh! I ran across the Cute Things Falling Asleep blog last week, and I'm 100% addicted! I've been following Bella around with the video camera in hopes of catching her playing-like-crazy-to-nap-time-transition on film.

On a similar note, the Aussie fireman sharing his water bottle with injured Koala Bear, Sam, rivals in adore-ability.

The good news:

"Both Sam and Bob were given painkillers when they first arrived, but they're off the drugs now, Raymond said. The two are still receiving antibiotics. For now, though, the famously thirsty marsupial appears to be on the mend."

"I'm just looking at Sam now — she is fast asleep," Raymond said. "She's doing very, very well."

Ummm...can we get some video of Sam falling asleep, or?

Koala bathtime!

My friend Cherie, who runs Vintage Arty Farty, sent me this super cute group of photos! Apparently it's been very hot in Australia and this little koala crawled down from the trees to find some shade. A nice family filled a pail of water and he climbed right in! How I wish I had a bathing koala to play with right now! Click ' Read More' for additional photos.

Honolulu Kawaii

I just got the photos off my camera from my Hawaiian shopping trip. I snagged some pretty cute stuff- mostly at the Japanese super store 'Shirokiya' at the Ala Moana shopping center.



When I was a toddler I had these EXACT shoes! They were my favorite thing in the whole world- they even squeak when you walk! I'm sure I drove my family batty squeaking with every step, but I loved them. Dan's brother and sister-in-law had an adorable baby yesterday, and I know it will be a while 'till she is walking, but I couldn't resist getting her these!




For only $3 each I found these bowls- which I was going to use for water dishes for Bella, but she knocks them over.



My younger sister (she's 12) is super into Pokemon- and I have to admit that sometimes the characters are pretty dang adorable. I had to get this one cause she looks like a hedgehog!



Of course I had to get this tofu- she is wearing a kimono!



I got this towel for only $2- I use it when Bella has a bath!

From Japan with Love

So, everyone knows I am a sucker for anything adorned with cute little characters. Well, I have just found the mother-load. From Japan with Love is both a Yahoo store and an Etsy shop.


The Yahoo Store has an amazing selection of Bento Boxes, Japanese kitchen gadgets, Bath & Body items, and plushies. The Etsy Shop literally has thousands of items for sale- mostly stationery, adorable items for gift wrapping & packaging, postcards, stickers, fabric, and Japanese craft books.


Seriously an amazing collection- it's like shopping in Japan without leaving your computer!
