Seonna Hong "Viscery loves Company"

Seonna Hong's last show, 'Viscery loves Company' was early this past summer at the KaiKai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo. Consequently, I couldn't attend, although I would have loved to have gone. I just looked at a few of the pieces from this show on Seonna's website, and they are stunning. I love the way she paints a looming sense of danger, while the subjects are usually always innocent little girls. She plays with the sense of naivety in a way that's very unique and captivating.

There's a gorgeous print of Seonna's for sale at Subliminal Projects.
