There's some beautiful work by Japanese artist Masako Ando on the Tomio Koyama Gallery site, but it seems like there hasn't been any updates about this artist in awhile. It looks like her last show was in 2004, and she's disappeared since then. Swindle has an article about this strange disappearance- they asked her to be in their magazine but she declined, and no new work or news about her has arisen since her last show. I wonder if she decided to follow another path, or if she has just been hidden away making art?
