Carmichael Gallery is hosting the Issue 2 release party for The New Order magazine this Saturday afternoon, July 18th from 3pm-7pm. There will be drinks, DJs, and the chance to check out The New Order, which is SlamxHype’s new quarterly fashion, art and street culture publication. This issue features Takashi Murakami and KAWS on its covers.
There will be a limited number of KAWS posters given away at the event.

The Carmichael Gallery in Los Angeles is hosting a double opening this Thursday- in the front gallery is Thais Beltrame from Brazil with his show "When all the Stars Are Gone" (preview image is above)
In the back gallery is the opening of "Get Rich Quick", with pieces from some amazing urban street artists like Banksy, Shepard Fairey, KAWS and Swoon.

The Carmichael Gallery in Los Angeles has been hosting some really wonderful shows, the last being the graffiti/anime showcase of the artist Hush (image above).
Their next show will feature the first US exhibition by UK based artist Boxi. Boxi's haunting works will be shown in a variety of mediums including spray paint on canvas and MDF, sculpture, and limited edition prints, as well as a site-specific installation.
An opening reception will be held on Thursday, April 9th, 2009 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm, with the artist in attendance.
