64 Colors 'Greetings from Near and Afar'

The new exhibit at Rotofugi, 'Greetings from Near and Afar' features work by 64 Colors & Chema Skandal. I've been looking through the preview pictures of the show, which opened in Chicago last Friday and runs through August 23rd.

64 Colors is one of my favorite artist duos, and their work for this show is just beautiful. They've created a huge number of pieces, featuring handmade plushies, paper clay figures, custom vinyl, and gorgeous paintings. 64 Colors has a tremendous range, and every piece pulls you into their world of marshmallows, acorns, mushrooms and doe eyed girls.

Joe Ledbetter's "Death & Taxes" @ Copro Nason

Joe Ledbetter's retrospective show "Death & Taxes" opens this Saturday at Copro Nason. It will feature most all of his prints & toys released to date, plus 20 new paintings, and his new book "Creatures of Habit". He will be there to sign the book and meet fans!
