Rinee Shah's Memoryhouse 'Lately' Video

I've posted the really stunning animation work of Rinee Shah before, and while this video is a diversion from that genre, it's no less stunning. The slow visual dialogue paired with a lovely vintage aesthetic makes this video a pure pleasure to watch.

One of my favorite upcoming illustrators / animators, Rinee Shah, has added some new work to her website. You might remember the video I posted before, 'Little Forest,' which is easily one of my most favorite animated pieces ever. I watched it again and still love it so much I decided to post it again, above. She has a new section on her site entitled 'Work in Progress' which consists of a preview image from an intriguing new animated piece. I encourage you to spend some time on her site and watch all of her wonderful different animated pieces!

I've posted a lot of different videos over the course of this blog, but one of my favorites has always been "Little Forest" by Rinee Shah. It's just so indescribably lovely, and I often go back to it and watch it over and over.
Rinee has just let me know of a new video, entitled "Almost"; it's quite bittersweet, with an unexpected twist at the end! The animation work is lovely as always, and I am so excited to see what Rinee comes up with next!

A truly lovely animation about a girl & her polar bear fighting the evil forest. All of Rinee Shah's animations fit seamlessly with their music, but this new one is my favorite. All of them are worth watching though, so do that here.
