Unfortunately, three of the pieces donated for Pablove One Another got lost on their way to the US, but two have shown up (YAY) including this lovely piece by one of my favorite illustrators, Silvia Portella.
This piece is available from Leanna Lin's Wonderland with 100% of the proceeds benefitting The Pablove Foundation.

I've been a fan of Silvia Portella's work for a long time, and even own some of her prints. So I was really excited to see that she has a solo show opening at Rivet tomorrow!

An illustrator born in 1978 in Barcelona, Spain nowadays based in Berlin, Germany. Graduating in 2001 from the art and design school BAU in Barcelona and working in graphic design until giving her true passion, illustration a try. Silvia has done character design and illustration for companies such as Enser magazine, Poketo, and Pictoplasma just to name a few.

Screw Nostalgia - I Want The Future will be an art show inspired by robots, space suits, and the artist's take on the future. I am really excited about the show 'Über Cute' opening this weekend at Rivet Gallery. Featuring work by one of my favorites, Silvia Portella of BukuBuku, as well as Okkle, Daniel Elson, My Paper Crane-Heidi Kenney. The show runs through February 28th- check out the preview here.
