Feist on Sesame Street
I know everyone is blogging this, but I can't resist. I thought Feist was cool before, but now, she is ON SESAME STREET!? How rad is this video!? I love that she changed the lyrics to be more applicable for the Sesame Street audience. She played at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend, and now I am regretting not going. :(
Im F*ing Seth Rogen!
I wasn't privy to the whole Sarah Silverman / Jimmy Kimmel video war until last night, but apparently... Sarah is f*ing Matt Damon, while Jimmy is f*ing Ben Affleck.
Now, I am very happy that Seth Rogen has been thrown into the mix... he would definitely be my top choice over Matt & Ben! Plus, even though Jimmy's video is full of A-listers, I think Seth's is funnier!
Pete Fowler Weekend...
So excited about getting this Ltd. Edition Black TRWG at Giant Robot this weekend for only $20!! My other TRWG (the brown one) has a great little Pete Fowler sketch on the back, and I think this new guy is a bit jealous.
Also bought tickets to go see Super Furry Animals next weekend.
PCP Updates
PCP (Heisuke Kitazawa) is one of my favorite artists. I love the magical worlds his art draws you into... forests with ghost-like creatures and transparent deer, friendly flocks of ducks, all painted in gorgeous greens and browns and pinks. I just stumbled upon the animated music video he did for Her Space Holiday's 'The Telescope'. He did all of the album art, as well as 2 Poketo wallets, which are now sold out.

Giant Robot will be showing 15 pieces of new work by PCP in their upcoming group show 'Incidental Nature'. The show also features work by KozynDan and Robert Bellm.
Nagi Noda
I don't know how I just now learned about the Japanese artist Nagi Noda, but she is amazing! She has done a ton of rad music videos, created the half-panda, half-other animal character 'Hanpanda', and does an incredible clothing line called "Broken Label" in collaboration with Mark Ryden. Phew!
She has made music videos for bands like The Scissor Sisters and Tiga, and my personal favorite video, which is perfect for Christmas, is entitled 'A Small Love Story about Alex and Juliet', and can be seen here.

The Good Life : Heartbroke
Loving this video for The Good Life's new song, Heartbroke. I didn't like the album at first, but it's been growing on me.

I am a little behind on this one, but I just watched the Of Montreal video for "Wraith Pinned to the Mist and Other Games" and it's totally amazing. I love the song, too!
