Domingo Ayala Summer '09

I have long been a fan of the cute playful illustrations of Barcelona based designer Domingo Ayala. (you might remember my previous posts about his work here and here)

Not only are his illustrations super cute, but his clothing is always on innovative fresh new shapes unlike any other lines. The silhouettes are always young and hip and I always feel like they'd look good on everyone.

I was lucky enough to get a preview of his amazing new line for Summer '09. As always, the graphics are the driving force behind the line, and this season's collection is no dissapointment. I want everything!

You can see (and buy) all of Domingo's wonderful line here on his site.

Shanalogic Wishlist

Shanalogic always sells the cutest selection of indie designer items. I browsed the site today and selected a few choice little items!
My faves:

Dessert Lovin' Tote

Sir Fancy Rabbit Tee
Sushi Party Notepad
Manatee Necklace

My Colette Wishlist

Oh Colette. I am glad I don't live in Paris... I would be too tempted to spend all my money at this fabulous shop.
The top item on my list would have to be these pink and white striped reeboks, then it would be the hello kitty headphones, and for the table- this pink planter. Hmmm, I must be in a pink mood today!

Felt Club Los Angeles THIS WEEKEND!

You always get the best holiday gifts (and treats for yourself) and indie design / craft events, and this weekend is FELT CLUB!

The vendor list is amazing, including some of my favorite indie designers like Absolutely Small, Axelhoney, Boygirlparty, I Heart Guts and tons and tons more. You can see the entire vendor gallery here.

If you can't make it to Felt Club, Bust Magazine is going to be having a Craftacular Event in early December.

Honolulu Kawaii

I just got the photos off my camera from my Hawaiian shopping trip. I snagged some pretty cute stuff- mostly at the Japanese super store 'Shirokiya' at the Ala Moana shopping center.

When I was a toddler I had these EXACT shoes! They were my favorite thing in the whole world- they even squeak when you walk! I'm sure I drove my family batty squeaking with every step, but I loved them. Dan's brother and sister-in-law had an adorable baby yesterday, and I know it will be a while 'till she is walking, but I couldn't resist getting her these!

For only $3 each I found these bowls- which I was going to use for water dishes for Bella, but she knocks them over.

My younger sister (she's 12) is super into Pokemon- and I have to admit that sometimes the characters are pretty dang adorable. I had to get this one cause she looks like a hedgehog!

Of course I had to get this tofu- she is wearing a kimono!

I got this towel for only $2- I use it when Bella has a bath!

From Japan with Love

So, everyone knows I am a sucker for anything adorned with cute little characters. Well, I have just found the mother-load. From Japan with Love is both a Yahoo store and an Etsy shop.

The Yahoo Store has an amazing selection of Bento Boxes, Japanese kitchen gadgets, Bath & Body items, and plushies. The Etsy Shop literally has thousands of items for sale- mostly stationery, adorable items for gift wrapping & packaging, postcards, stickers, fabric, and Japanese craft books.

Seriously an amazing collection- it's like shopping in Japan without leaving your computer!

Decaf Plush

I have been searching for the perfect dog bed, and I think I found it at Decaf Plush. Aside from pet beds they also have pillows and kid clothes, all adorned with some really adorable appliques. I think I like the elephant bed the best!

Morn Creations

I am in love with the bag designs from Morn Creations. Bunnies, pandas, monsters and more on messenger bags, kisslock purses, coin purses and aprons. You can check out the whole collection on yesstyle.com
