64 Colors Supermagical Dunny!!

Photobucket

THIS IS SO EXCITING!
64 Colors first 10" Kidrobot Dunny will be released on 2/23! Here's all the details from the KidRobot blog:

I roam the forest keeping a watchful eye for those who disrespect that which is sacred and in decline.
Beware and do not destroy, or I will descent upon you with a mighty fury and vengeance that is swift and absolute.

Inspired by myth and folklore, supernatural events, and walks in the woods behind their studio, 64 Colors weaves together tales both real and imagined to create the 8-inch Supermagical Dunny, a strikingly beautiful but merciless sentinel of the forest. Featuring a uniquely sculpted head with branched ear, intricate matte painted details, and captivating watchful eyes, the Supermagical Dunny keeps watch and protects the animated acorns, the dancing leaves, and the mystical mushrooms. As long as she is on guard, the woods are alive with mysterious life forms and energy.

Beginning February 23, be enchanted for $75 (£60 UK; 69.60€ Europe) at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com and select retailers worldwide. Limited edition of 1,200.

Dunny Fatale

I haven't been excited about a KidRobot Dunny release in awhile, but I am jonesing for some of the figures in the new Fatale series. That Koralie one is spectacular. The lineup of female artists participating in the release is pretty great, and includes alot of TKB Blog favorites:
Artists in this innovative series include Alex Anderson, Catalina Estrada, Klor, CW, Aiko, Kathie Olivas, Wendi Koontz, Koralie, The Baroness, Anna Chambers, Amanda Visell, Amy Ruppel, Julie West, Toofly, Junko Mizuno, Aya Kakeda, Tara McPherson, and Sara Varon

Gloomy Dunny

I haven't been to keen on some of the recent dunnys coming outta Kid Robot, but this Gloomy Bear one is pretty dang cute.
Release Date is November 5th, and you know it's gonna sell out super quick!

Tado's Choop!

One of the cutest pandas around, Choop, designed by my favorite duo Tado, has arrived! Available in 10" plush form, or on a super cute women's tee, both are available at Kid Robot.

SDCC Loot

This was the best year of SDCC I have ever done. People showed me so much love and were so kind with their encouragement! Being a self employed artist means I don't often get feedback, so going to a show and being so supported is just amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came to the Bored Inc. booth! It's because of all of you that I get to do what I love!

It wasn't all work- I did manage to sneak away for a bit and score some goodies! I got two prints from Junko Mizuno's 'Tender Succubus' show at Gallery Nucleus (now I have all 3!), lots of Marshalls by 64 Colors, James Jarvis' King Ken from Strangeco, the TokiDoki SDCC colorways of Captain Coco and Skeletrino and Skeletrina, a print and an original Mr. Toast, and a super cute pea goodie bag from our pals at Conduct Happiness.

Two of my biggest scores came from Kid Robot. I've hated on the attitudes of their employees in the past, but I have to say that the people working the booth at Comic Con this year were SO nice, and even let me trade my duplicate Junko Mizuno 'Pure Trance' Umeko & Takeko duplicates for Rika! So stoked! I also got a few of the new Tado Fortune Pork Plush and also got Cloak from Cannibal Funfair.

I'll upload more pics soon, and I am working on getting all the new product onto my site. A lot of stuff sold out, so if you don't see what you are looking for, be patient, I just have to make more!

Junko Mizuno's Pure Trance Mini Figures

Really excited about the KidRobot release next week (Thursday, June 4th) of Junko Mizuno's Pure Trance blind box mini figures. They seem a tad pricey at $9.95 each, but they are super cute nontheless, and I love the imagery in Pure Trance.
Details here.
