Loving this new series of comfy tee-dresses at Sick for Cute!

Crazy Go Lucky is a super cool company run by Michael De Jesus, from Union City, California. There's an array of awesome characters like a zombified, bloody mouthed panda and an awesome robot (robots ARE a nerd's best friend) and a cool new positive message tee "believe in your dreams no matter how crazy they may seem". There's also cute shoes by Zazzle and sticker packs so you can show off your love.
Awesomesauce. Check it all out here.

We are all going to have to start wearing clothes with way more zippers- between the 64 Colors Marshall zipper charms and these new Ninjatown ones by Shawnimals, zippers are getting a whole lot cuter!

There's so much hand-printed goodness in Nate Duval's Etsy shop! There's gig posters (for bands like Flight of the Conchords, Iron and Wine, and Monsters of Folk), tees for kids and adults, and lovely prints of houses and boats. I love the illustrations and color palettes!

Sweet illustrations and crafty goodness in Kaori Kasai's Handmade shop. Some of these illustrations remind me a bit of Yoshitomo Nara.

I am enamored with the graphics on these journal covers in the Runaway Dreams Etsy shop.

Love the selection of over-sized necklaces in Acrylicana's Etsy shop! She has the cutest graphics- they always make me happy!

Considering it's unlikely I'll get my paws on this amazing Disney Couture tea party necklace (it's $900 smackers!) I went ahead and picked out some more attainable and totally adorable household items from the always stellar Fred Flare.

I've been a fan of Souther Salazar's fantastic work for quite some time. I was excited to see this interview from Scion's Installation 5.

I love art that mixes textiles and applique, so the new 'Patchwork' show at the ever-wonderful GR2 in Los Angeles caught my eye. Check them out quick- the pieces are really affordable and will go fast!

After you check out the show at LeBasse Projects, head on over to the Carmichael Gallery's new Culver City location for Nina Pandolfo's 'Life's Flavor'! The preview images are awesome!

Stellar new work by Alexandros Vasmoulakis for his new show, "Is Everybody Happy?" opening this weekend at LeBasse Projects.
From the Press Release:
LeBasse Projects is excited to present, 'Is Everybody Happy?,' the first US solo exhibition from Greek artist Alexandros Vasmoulakis. In this anticipated solo project, Vasmoulakis brings his first major body of work to the US after becoming recognized across Europe for his work both on the streets and in galleries.
Vasmoulakis is mostly known by his work in the streets of Athens, Greece as he has painted on and embellished various buildings across the city and is expected to do the same here in Los Angeles. While recognized for his street work, Vasmoulakis' paintings are beginning to reflect the maturity of his work as an artist.
His works' main theme is the psychology of his figures - the struggle and the element of conflict dominates in the pairs of his figures as well as in each character separately. With the perceptive analysis of his characters Vasmoulakis achieves through his work he persuades us that he has penetrated into their mentality by holding a role of a competent and gifted anatomist and of an expressive soul searcher.
'Is Everybody Happy' will be Vasmoulakis' first US solo exhibition.
