"Quick and Painful" Prints

Photobucket

For some people, their favorite way to showcase the work of their favorite artists is on their own body. I've often thought about covering myself in tattoos from Miss Van, or Tado, or Junko Mizuno. The traveling show Quick & Painful let's collectors get tattoos done of special images created for the show by some of the best artists around. Additionally, you can buy the images as prints (details below) and there's some great work available in the Hope Gallery Tattoo webshop.

The “Quick and Painful” Series of Giclee Prints are 11" x 14" and printed on beautiful 300 gram cold press watercolor paper with archival pigment inks. These prints are exclusively available at Hope Gallery and are very limited.

Each Print set comes with an official certificate embossed with the Hope Gallery Seal of Authenticity. Prints are packaged in a crystal clear fitted bag with firm white backing. Shipped flat.

I've included some of my favorite image collections here, from Tado, Tokidoki, Tara McPherson, Junko Mizuno, DevilRobots and Cammila d'Errico

I love Camilla d'Errico's toys! I am excited to see this SDCC release.

Via Vinyl Pulse:

Camilla d’Errico will release her new Kuro vinyl toy from Inner Sanctum @ SDCC. Regular ($29.99), DIY ($25.99) as well as the SDCC Exclusive Blueberry GID (100 pcs, $59.99) will be available from her booth (#4723).
While the regular and the DIY will be available from Camilla’s online store and select retailers after the show, Kuro purchases at the show will include an exclusive collectible card as well. Speaking of SDCC awesomeness, Camilla is now accepting pre-orders for customized DIY Kuros ($25.99 + $25) for pickup at her booth during the show. If you’re interested in a custom, please drop a line to cderricostore [at] gmail [dot] com. New Gelaskins

Gelaskins has added a lot of super cute new laptop skins. They have designs now by Camilla d'Errico, Yosuke Ueno, KuKula, and Amy Sol. Too bad I only have one laptop... I like all of these!

Camilla d'Errico Bags

Camilla d'Errico has released a new line of bags, available in her webstore.

The bags look really amazing- the printing quality looks great! The price points in the collection range from $12.99 to $155.99. I especially like the waist bag!

Camilla d’Errico

The awesome TKB Blog reader Karla recently turned me on to Camilla d’Errico's work. I had seen some prints for sale of Camilla's work on A Paper Tiger, but for some reason forgot to check her out. She has some really amazing pieces in her portfolio, as well as two shows opening this week in New York.

The first show is 'Young Blood' at Opera Gallery, which opens tomorrow (the 17th) and the second show is "In the Languages of Angels" at Ad Hoc Gallery - this show opens on the 24th.
Camilla also has an online shop with some really gorgeous (and really afforable) prints. If you don't find the print you are looking for there, check out A Paper Tiger and Gallery Nucleus for some other options.
